So my Touch is jailbroken, and I've installed like 25 things so it was working.
One day about a week ago it decided to be retarded and not install anything anymore and it hasn't since.
It does the "downloading package; checking package" and once it gets to "installing package" it crashes back to summerboard. Sigh.
I ran my battery all the way down and I've shut it off and rebooted summerboard and nothing has worked. Help please. Thanks!

uninstall some of your more recently added programs and that should do the trick

I've been having the exact same problem! The last things I've installed are the new Summerboard update and BSD Subsystem. Of coarse I can't uninstall BSD Subsystem (why I don't know). When I try to update or download a new application it downloads it then midway through the install it crashes and returns to Summerboard.

It's interesting to see that people are suddenly having this problem, which leads me to believe that it's Summerboard since everyone has it and probably most have updated it. I have no idea what to do to go about solving that.

    Any ideas?
