ok another problem when i open installer
    (first time this happened ever)
    it says
    insufficient permissions
    installer was not installed correctly
it should be run as root:wheel.we will continue but please remember it may not function correctly

every thing i try to install it says main execution failed

    Enter these commands:

    chown -R root:wheel /Applications/Installer.app

    chmod 4755 /Applications/Installer.app/Installer

    are you serious???

either SSH into your ipod and open up the terminal and type them in OR if you have "term-vt100" installed (which you probably dont) you can enter them through there...

Use Putty for Windows or Terminal for Mac.

Use Google for a download (if necessary).

Did you enter the commands? If so, reboot, and the problem should be fixed.
