    Hi !

Since a few days installer systematically crashes after any install, when i download something then go to springboard i get a never ending spining wheel, then i have to rebbot, then the apple logo stays forever. so finally when i SSH and delete the new app it boots again.
This happens for any app, even trusted ones, ive got installer 3.11 and heaps of empty space on 300mb partition ( yes relocated w/ bosstools )

    What shall i do?

Reset all setting's to factory settings on the ipod itself, if that doesn't work just restore and use a different method to jailbreak.

Uninstall some packages (not bsd subsystem or OpenSSH)
    Now Install BossTool
Once Installed open in and click the blue arrow____Free Disk Space >
then move your fonts no need to move your apps.
Then installer won't crash, if you run outta space again move your apps.

He said that he used BossTool already, mlb.

Backup your apps and restore if replacing Installer.app doesn't work.

Hey guys. I was having the exact same problem so I tried the BossTool suggestion and it worked just fine for me. Moving only the fonts freed up like 85 Mb on my OS partition, which was plenty of space for installer to install more apps. Now I seem to be able to install updates and new packages without the installer crashing. Thanks for the help!

Edit: I forgot to mention that it is crucial that you uninstall a couple of your current apps to free up a little space for the BossTool app in the first place.
