Installer --> RemotePackages

    i installed blaze ultimate and it made me delete remotepackages in order to refresh sources again. i did that and then installer would work. but when i respring, i cant go into installer unless i delete remotepackes again. this even happened when i uninstalled blaze ultimate.

    wtf is going on? i dont wanna delete remotepackages every day!

    i had the same problem, but with AlliPodHax ulitimate source list
    the remotepackages plist is a file that stores all of the available apps from all of your installer sources, and i think installer has a glitch that causes it to crash when that file is too big.
    thats what i think was happening, so i uninstalled all of the sources that i didnt want.
    it was fine after that

    wow, thanks. i uninstalled all the sources i didnt want and its good now.

    maybe its all those gay foreign and hebrew sources... after deleting them it was fine.

    Wow i had this problem with my ipod but have only deleted the remotesources plist file once because i have only used installer once since. I will delete the sources that i do not want and hope it works. thanks.

    I just nuked all my sources and started again. I had so much crap in there. Nuking them just seemed quicker than using the app to remove each one individually. Took about 10 seconds in a text editor. Installer is lovely now and doesn't need a day and a half to refresh now
