Installer Refreshing Sources Right now- LONGEST EVER

    it must be like 20 minutes refreshing sources, and is only about 1/5 of the way finished... is there something wrong or maybe it really is refreshing ALOT OF SOURCES. usually, when it refreshes it only takes 2 minutes.

    if it ever finishes installer refresh faster from installer

    Run Installer through SSH; you'll be able to see which source is taking forever.

    Open PuTTy

    Type : /Applications/Installer.app/Installer

    so what should i do when i find out which source is taking the longest?

    Well, chances are you don't want to delete it, but you can take comfort in blaming that one source for all your troubles.

    Delete all unnecessary sources; trust me, there are plenty out there.

    If you press the home button, I'm not sure anything will happen. You can close the app by holding the home button for 5 seconds, but the sources will not have refreshed.

    o ok i closed the app. thanks for helping. but im going to try to refresh again rite now.

    damn, it seems like i should just let the sources refresh for as long as it needs. it's at the same damn spot again....
