Try just rebooting your iPod, sometimes that works.

Try going to Uninstall, and then Reinstalling Installer. That always works for me, and after it's done it automatically installs the things that you were trying to get before.

Either that or install/reinstall BSD Subsystem.

to fix this ssh into the ipod touch and delete all the third party apps or better unistall them through installer. then add the source sleepers.net/iphonerepo and download bosstool. then open bosstool and select free space then move apps

Well then try using the search button, it's there for a reason.
Either that or read some of the stickied/stickied in the past threads before asking for help from the community, because believe it or not, there may be something that worked for me and didn't work for you.

Your welcome, I recognize your gratitude for my input.

Oh, another thing I just remembered. It's called getting the new version of installer.

That happened to me when I 1st installed 1.1.3, if you've rebooted and open installer and it doesn't open. The only solution is to downgrade back to 1.1.1 then jailbreak and work your way up again. I'm sticking to 1.1.2 for now, it seems like alot of the 1.1.3 firmware has been ripped from an iphone.
