Sorry if this is the wrong spot to post this, but ever since the latest Installer update I haven't been able to download anything. Everything I download crashes at the end of the installation. Has anyone else had this problem? I haven't seen anyone post about any issues with 3.01 yet. I need help like ASAP. Thanks.

NOTE: I posted a duplicate of this in the Applications forum....wasn't sure where it should go. No one really replied on that one, so I am hoping I can get better help on this forum. Moderators feel free to delete one or the other, I just wasn't sure which place was best for this topic since it could be related to both. Thanks.

    here you go

    1. delete ALL foreign language sources
    2. uninstall a few apps you dont need (games, etc.)
    3. download bosstool
    4. open it
    5. move fonts, applications, and ringtones
    6. you now have space to download anything you want

    this should make it work.

    Anyone?

How can I run BossTool through SSH instead of through Installer because Installer crashes when I download anything.

maybe use the method to bypass the set amount of you application folder, if that don't work delete your sources.
If not i would download Installer 3.00 and then SSH into your ipod and replace installer 3.01 with 3.00 and set permission to 755

If them don't work then i have no clue on how to solve it.

First try to fix the Installer problem by using the method above. If that works and you can install now, then find the BossTool app and download it. Then tap the app, go into Free Disk Space and it'll say things like "Relocate fonts." or something like that. Move the fonts and the Ringtones. This will free up some space and allow you to download more apps.

If you can't dl if you tried the methods above, then I don't know how to help. Sorry. :[
