in your personal opinion, would u rather use cydia or installer

    Or do u use both?

Why do I ask?...I don't want to put both on my iPhone 3G when I jailbreak it. Now on my 1.1.4 EDGE jailbroken phone, I wasn't too happy with cydia, it was a bit too buggy for me, so I used installer for the most part. But now it seems like the tables have turned, so what is your personal opinion (please state your reasoning)

i would rather use cydia. Its more reliable in my opinion, but i will use installer if i have to download something thats only on installer. also, cydia has a way better GUI in my opinion. it just makes more sense. i liked the old installer better actually. why dont you want to put both on it?

Given that you use FW 2.0.0+, then Cydia rules over Installer so far.

As many people say, it's a lot more stable, easy-to-use, not-nerve-racking, quick and finally not beta!

Personally, I have loaded both on my iPodT

, and I have used Installer just to see how it works...

But all my applications are installed through Cydia. And some from App Store.

Installer still has some bugs, so you need to be careful when you use it (like don't allow a lot of tasks to run at the same time, or wait for the sources to load before doing anything), but it has some useful fixes in general. For apps, Cydia's repos have more apps right now, but I wouldn't discard Installer

    In simple terms, Cydia.
I'd write more but I've answered so many of these threads lately.

Cydia is [MUCH] more stable than installer. Since i upgraded installer keeps frezzin! I hav both. But most Installer apps can be found in Cydia. Stick to Cydia 4 now but installer could come in handy. Cydia also posts how 2 use ssh 4 noobz and stuff like that. Either way Cydia Rokz!
