Installer is useless right?

    If so is it safe to remove it? I don't see why installer is even on the touch. Nothing is in it!!!

    Yes, remove it at your pleasure. I don't use it, it's worthless for me.

    just hide it. because if something happens to cydia you can reinstall cydia through installer.

    Eh, you can just SSH Cydia back in, so I just never installed Installer.

    true, but isnt it annoying to find cydia.app and then open the ssh client, then go to the folder, and drop it in, then respring? its easier to have installer and install cydia with a few taps on your ipod.

    Installer 5 looks pretty sweet. I'll wait and see though. APT seems to be the favorite for repo owners, and RipDev seems to be screwing with them. I don't know why, but I'm going to keep Installer, it does have some stuff on it, if you add some repos.

    But I just never got around to putting Installer on my iPod, I'm too lazy to install it now.
    Plus Cydia never fails me, and even if I did something to Cydia, hopefully Icy would still work.

    How do you add repos, whatever that is to installer?
