Ok. I've had to recover my ipod 3 times because of this now. First time my very first jailbreak my ipod worked for about 2 weeks. Then just stopped refreshing sources. i put it into recovery mode. reset EVERYTHING. got installer back. cant even refresh once now. just sits there. for at least 10 minutes. until i have to restart it. using 1.1.1 firmware. not downloading anything malicious. just very frustrated and confused.

Any help is very greatly appreciated.

    TY in advance -Meltha

How many sources do you have? If you have a lot, it could just be that sources take a while to refresh. Or, if one of the sources you use is down, it will greatly slow down the refresh. Try letting it sit for a while, and see if it refreshes. If it doesn't, that means you have a problem.

If it does, try deleting most of your sources (except the preinstalled ones, like Conceited Sources), then go back and add them one by one.
