    Hey guys,

due to some problems, I decided to re-jailbreak my iPod Touch from the beginning, and I've been following Apple Guy's method step by step, but for some reason, when I update to 1.1.2 from 1.1.1, Installer simply dissappears, it's not there. Does anybody know what to do?

    Thanks in advance

    You are installing OKTOPrep right?

Yep, installed both Oktoprep and BSD Subsystem.

I used windows.bat, not sure what the hugh645 did. What happened for me is that I ran the windows.dat program, and I don't think it restarted my ipod so I waited for a while to have some sign of it saying that it was done, but nothing came up. After waiting, and nothing else happening, I disconnected my ipod from the computer.

Should I run the windows.bat again to see if it fixes itself?

Sorry hugh645 for taking over your thread, I didn't want to start another one, since we both seem to be having the same problem.

I arrive at step 6, but there's no point in doing it simply because I don't have installer. Once I'm a step 5, I do the update to 1.1.2 but Installer disappears. In case you were wondering, I'm talking about the steps in Apple Guy's Jailbreak (http://www.ifans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=34376)

Run jailbreak.jar then follow the on screen directions. Lol when you update to the 1.1.2 firmware you have to jailbreak 1.1.2 also to get installer.app.

Well, I did what you said. I continued with the steps even though Installer wasn't there and everything seems to be going okay for now. I was just confused 'cause the first time I jailbroke my iPod, Installer was still there in 1.1.2. Anyways, thanks a lot for your help guys, it's really appreciated!
