Installer Crashing on Opening

    my installer is crashing before opening completely, what can i do?
    can i ssh or something?
    please help

    ssh into it and go to var/mobile/library/installer and delete remotepackes.plist. do this every time you want to open installer. you can use mobile finder to.

    You beat me to it, but Dtm644 is right you just have to delete that file and installer should stop crashing.

    im having the same trouble and when i go in ssh and type in var/mobile/library/installer it says error changing directory to var/mobile/library/installer. so what do i do

    IMO, it is just easier to restore. You could try the terminal commands in the guide in my sig on installer though...
