ok i jailbroke my ipod touch and i went through all of the steps the right way. toward the end putty came up and asked about trusting the I.P. adress. i hit yes , and yes again when it came up the second time(i was supposed to do that right?). then it exited and touchfree finished up. i restarted my ipoT when it was finished and installer.app doesnt show up. i have a low battery is that the problem? or did i just do something wrong. any help would be extremely helpful. thank you!

You may have to restore your iPod and jailbreak it again. To restore your iPod see the 2nd line in my signature. Once you do this go through the jailbreak process again and tell me if it works.

Yeah, you are right. If it does not work this time try using the jailbreak.bat method.

Keep your iPod plugged into the computer the whole time, even when you are rebooting it. When you say restart I am guessing you mean reboot. To reboot turn the iPod off and back on.

Hmm. Do you have the latest version of .NET framework (version 3.0?)
