So every time i try to install or uninstall something it kicks me back to the springboard. I tried deleting the .app and then put a new installer.app in place of it and yet i still have the same problem. so i think it might either be a source or something that i installed. also when i try to update something that doesnt work and then makes the app unusable. anyone else have this problem, or is my ipod just weird?? thanks and if any of you know the solution please tell.

Have you moved your Apps to get around the 3rd party app limit?

I believe that this happens when you don't have enough space left.

You've run out of app space, just get rid of the 3rd part app limit and it should work. This is what happened to me.

No we didn't.... We already moved the application folder to the media partition... That's not the problem... It's something else...

if it is a problem with your sources, i think you can go into library and delete them. let me do some research and get back to you

Well I can uninstall them from the installer (uninstalling works fine for me), but the problem is that I don't know which source it would be... In fact, I don't even know if it has something to do with a source...

I have an similar problem, everything i try to install something from the installer it crashes. it downloads fine and then when it installs it kicks me to the main menu of the ipod touch. Is there any fix to this? do i have to restore and jailbreak again?
