Installer 4 beta install wrong

    Hey guys, i just got back from my trip and i checked my email and low and behold, i had a beta installer 4.0 for me to download from rip dev. So i sshd it into my ipod, and now when i start it up, it says i have installed it wrong, Can anyone else here who got it please tell me what to do.

    Enter these commands into Terminal:

    su root

    alpine

    cd /

    chmod -R 777 /Applications/Installer.app

    chmod a+srx /Applications/Installer.app/Installer

    chown -R root:wheel /Applications/Installer.app

    Wait, so i had the same exact problem as cacman93 so i went into terminal and entered all of the code you told us 2 but it didnt work, am i supposed to do it in mobile terminal or something??? p.s. i'm on a mac and i used fugu to install installer plzzzz help

    also right after i entered chmod -R 777 /Applications/Installer.app
    it said ".applications/installer.app: No such file or directory"

    Install MobileTerminal from Cydia, and then enter those in there.

    THANKS A TONNNNN! sry i'm an idiot, I was typing the code into terminal on my mac not on my itouch lol but yeah, that totally worked, you ROCK!

    Hi,
    when i typed chmod -R 777 /Applications/Installer.app into terminal, it says "operation not permitted".
    What should i do? thks!!

    Make sure you are entering the first few commands correctly.
