restore to 1.1.1, but first try hitting the sleep/wake button and then pressing it again to go to the slide 2 unlock screen.

    1. Hold the Home and Sleep button for 20 second, or until it turns off.

    2. Unplug the iPod, if pluged in

    3. Hold the home button on the iPod, and then connect it to your computer.

    4. Keep holding until it goes in recovery mode

iTunes will ask to restore, restore it and retry.

the dev gui jb is the best. it's already in installer. but before you restore, hold the power and home button untill you ipod shuts of and then the apple logo comes up. after that, download iBrickr from here --> http://cre.ations.net/creation/ibrickr

and after its done downloading, run ibrickr and it will detect your ipod is in recovery mode. press the boot my iphone button. (works for iphone and ipod touches). if your screen turns red, then your ipod should boot up normally. if your screen turns green, then you will need to restore in itunes
