Install other os's via openiboot ?

    Not sure if it's possible or not but was just a question...

    Ya you can install android froyo 2.2 on ipt1 ip2g and ip3g.

    Im going to try to boot the Gp2x Firmware.. And Well See how that goes.

    Lol. The firmwares need to be supported by the iPhone, on top of which they most likely will require some formatting for the iPhone.

    All stuff that runs on Linux should somewhat work if you configure them right. It require high knowledge about Linux and software that you plan to run. I can give you tip, use Linux kernel that is uses with Android, it has already drivers setup, if you software needs kernel modules that are not compiled in Android builds use, get source code from planetbeing repos and configure them as you want.... if you don't know how to do that then why you even trying?

    iX is in the making right now, its a ubuntu port for iphone, but its in the development stage right now

    btw tried 2nd release if iX in ipod touch 1G with alex's kernel, and after a while i get a black screen, maybe i was supposed to wait for a slow boot, but after a minute i turned it off, so havent tried that yet.

    tried again, iX does work on ipod 1g, you just have to wait 5-10 min for it to boot(so just wait when screen gets black)
