First of all hello everyone, I'm new around here. It's nice to see a community of people not afraid to mess around with their toys

Anyway I've been playing around with my iPod Touch v1 for the last 2 days, I jailbroke (verbe?) it and installed some applications (enough to fill two pages of the springboard). Initially I wanted to install Pandora that I've been using for some time on my PC... and guess what: it's there on the springboard, I can launch it but the application quits right away...

These are the steps I followed to install this app:
    - Jailbreak my iPod using ziPhone (the version of OS 1.1.5)
    - Install OpenSSH
    - Already had Putty and Core FTP
    - Unpack the pandora.ipa to extract the payload
    - Upload the pandora.app of the payload to the /Applications folder
    - Change its permissions chmod -R 755
    - Create a folder Documents in /var/mobile and /Applications with 777 permission (what are these folders for?)
    - ... and reboot the whole thing...

What did I miss? Noway I'm going to be hijacked by Apple to upgrade to v2 .

    Thxs!

    1) Apps must be on 2.x and higher.
    2) If the apps are not purcahsed by you, we cannot discuss them.
    3) When on 2.x and higher, install Applications by syncing through iTunes, not by SSH.

Yeah, pandora was developed for any firmware higher than 2.0, I recomend you just fork over the ridicules $10 upgrade fee and then get pandora for free from the app store.
