I tried to install Linux today on my iPod. I installed a fresh Ubuntu installation and transfered the files to the Linux machine (no internet) and I opened up Terminal and prepared the first commands for prepping the installation. I first logged in using "sudo su" and then I typed in my password. After that, I typed "cd /home/jared/Desktop/iphonelinux-demo/" and typed the next command. When I type ./loadibec openiboot-ipod.img3, nothing happens on my iPod. It's in recovery mode and plugged into the back of my computer but the screen stays at Recovery. Please help.
