    Nope.

    "root@ubuntu:/home/nick/Desktop/iphonelinux-demo# chmod a+x loadibec
    root@ubuntu:/home/nick/Desktop/iphonelinux-demo# ./loadibec
bash: ./loadibec: No such file or directory"

Try using sudo instead of just running it from a root shell.

I'll take a shot in the dark and say you're running an AMD64 machine?
If you are, do the following:
    Code:
    sudo apt-get install ia32-libs

It seems to happen with a bunch of things on 64-bit machines, and this is always the solution.

Log out of root before you run sudo.

    Lol.

Well... that works, but I get this then:

    "root@ubuntu:/home/nick/Desktop/iphonelinux-demo# sudo ./loadibec openiboot-ipod.img3
./loadibec: error while loading shared libraries: libreadline.so.5: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory"

    Try installing readline again:
    Code:
    sudo apt-get install libreadline5 libreadline5-dev
