    Can't you set the thing to "Auto-lock > Never"

    Or does that still get rid of Wi-Fi?

    I know, especially when I install a big file from Installer and always forget about it and need to start over! haha

    no the thing is that you can turn the screen off but the ipod will still be on.. sort of like if you were to turn your moniter off, your CPU would still run

    can u still also put ur ipod into sleep mode like normal? bc i would assume that leaving everything running would waste battery. but this would be perfect for a p2p ******* app like people were discussing a while ago...

    DO NOT USE!

    I put it on my iPhone and launched it thru SSH and nothing happened. So I decided to respring and when I did, SpringBoard wouldn't start up again. I ssh'd into it again and rm -f /Applications/Insomnia.app/ and SpringBoard started up again...
