    Nice. I'm more picky about it though I will fully charge a device when I open the box until using it. Also I take it off the charger sometimes in the middle of the night so it doesn't overcharge which is stupid actually.

    On my laptop though should I always keep it plugged it or do charge cycles?

    Besides GPS and music apps, i dont think force closing does anything for the battery.

    This is a great guide, although there is an exception when you say, "...a properly maintained battery is designed to retain an average 80% of its capacity after between 400 to 500 charge cycles.

    The iPad is designed with a battery that is supposed to go to around 1000 cycles.
