I was wondering if anyone has experience with Infrared remotes for their ipod. I currently have a griffin airclick that is RF and works amazingly for when i used my iPod video 30gb.
Now I have an iPod Touch and although the remote still works, the adapter blocks the headphone jack.

So I looked around ebay and found there was alot of IR (Infrared) remotes with smaller adapters but I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with IR remotes because i use my remote on the go outside so the griffin airclick was great with RF so I didnt have to point in the direction of my iPod and it had a nice HOLD switch so I wouldn't accidently press a button when it was in my pocket.
I was wondering if the infrared remote should work through my pants and would i have to point at the adapter for it to work.

Oh, and please don't recommend bluetooth headphones that has already crossed my mind.
    Thanks
