Alright so you have safe mode on your ipod touch or iphone? It's not anything really bad its just something that was included with cydia.

    WAYS THIS CAN HAPPEN:

    1. If you do the soft reset glitch ( using the slider in the music menu and hitting home. ) This tricks the firmware into thinking that the springboard crashed.
    2. As the title suggests on the safe mode window. Sometimes when you install an application it will do that. A common app that does it is the 5 icon dock.

    WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE:

HOW TO GET RID OF IT:

    1. All you gotta do is restart the device

Now if this happens to you repeatedly then just uninstall any apps that you have just installed. Or restore.

    *facepalm*

I'll break my streak of no posting to correct your idiocy.

    - It's obviously not bad, it's there to save your ass when you screw up and do something wrong. If you didn't have it and SpringBoard crashed out of your control, things would be messy, as WinterBoard, Stacks, SBSettings, etc would be trying to run code and you would be in deep sh*t.

    - It's included in Mobile Substrate, not Cydia.

    - The slider glitch is an actual SpringBoard crash, not a simulation or trick.

    - 5 icon dock does nothing that would cause Safe Mode. Unless your screwing around with or doing something you shouldn't be, it will not go to Safe Mode.
