Did this a while back with my ipod video, simple but for those who dont already know

    1. Select all your songs in itunes.
    2. Right-click and click get info (if a dialog box appears say yes)
    3. At the bottom there will be a volume bar, drag the slider to 100%
    4. Enjoy louder music!

The day I discovered that made me happy. It's a great little secret.

I prefer to just kill off the musicians. Then once they come up to heaven, I keep their souls on leashes and make them perform at me every beck and whim. It's actually pretty fly. You should see how well Jim Morrison gets along with Pachelbel. If I didn't know any better, I'd say...

Naw, I'll let you guys be the judge.

    No degredation in sound quality???

(Some of my songs are quieter than others, but I don't dare risk messing w/ their volume in case the good song's quality goes down the tubes)

i went to the hospital the other day because i was having hearing problems, and my GP said its because i play my music too loud in my earphones and now my hearing is permanently damaged and there is a possibility that my children will have very bad hearing too and problem will become genetic. So i highly advise you now to do this if you want to become partial deaf.

I know what you're sayin man. I'm planning to do this just to save battery power, perhaps just make it 75% louder or something..
