I've had my iPod for about a month now, and I'm packing a jailbroken 1.1.2. When I swapped with my friend's jailbroken 1.1.2, I noticed that his clicker is immensely louder than mine. Now, I know that all iPods's clickers are different in their own special way and all, but this seems wrong to me -- it is a very significant difference between the two. So is there some sort of hidden setting or factor that can change this, and make by iPod's voice heard? Or is Apple really that unfair, and it's just a hardware deal I have to deal with?

Install my Extended Preferences and try adjusting the volume from there.

hmmm... Well I have an extended prefs already installed, but idunno if it's yours or not. It added a "Statistics" section, a battery logger, the ability to change carrier text, etc. There's options to turn certain event sounds on and off, like for the keyboard and lock button and so on, but no sorts of volume adjustments at all, for anything.
Is that the one you're talking about tho? If not, where can I find it?

EDIT: oh nm, its in your sig...! Stupid me. Ill try it out.
