My 2g iPod has always displayed the battery incorrectly, if I played a game for a short time, battery would magically drop from like 50% to 20% very fast, but in fact it was still at 40% (if you waited it would 'go back' to that value), but now it's extreme. I just jailbroken my ipod 2g so it would be untethered and it always says my battery is at 10%! And I had just charged it to around 90%
    Any idea guys?
    Thanks so much in advance!

Well to tell you the truth, I searched "Incorrect Battery Meter" and no good topics came up. What do you search?

letting your ipod drop down to very low battery, like almost dead then recharging it can recalibrate the battery meter i heard.
