    no. its not that simple. It takes alot of time and knowledge.
    If it was then there would be many more jailbreakers than there are now :p

    Actually, you're pretty close, but patching an ipsw is only one way of doing it and the whole process itself is very difficult and requires much knowledge of how the iDevice works at bit-by-bit hardware level.

    Guys just leave it alone. If he just keeps posting it, ignore it. There is mods paying attention to this and you don't want to be banned. Just ignore him and leave the insults out. I know I was wrong to even drag this on. Just drops it and get back on topic.

    Comex most likely is on vacation and won't be releasing it soon, so just enjoy your device for what it already does. Try some app store apps, try webapps, and just enjoy what you have.

    Even if comex isn't on vacation we still must not bother him he'll release when he thinks should till then we wait patiently without complaining

    there is a beta for 4.1
    4.0.1 is an official release
