    As long as you don't have 4.0 on it you should be able to use Spirit.

    I guess yall just want a jailbeak the second a new fw comes out.
    you should be glad that theses guys are even developing a jailbreak for us. Be patient and stop complaining.

    I'm telling you. He literally copied and pasted technical-sounding things from a wiki about jailbreaking and stuck words between them.

    Besides, iDevices have no wires in them at all (besides the battery connections). Especially not color-coded ones. Even if there were, sticking two together could not do anything to help.

    This guy is just trolling. Ignore him.

    While I'm waiting, I'm gonna explore the jailbreak tools and jailbreaking in general. I already know a few programing languages, and I'm learning C++, so why not? Also, I know it sucks for us that comex is on vacation, but he deserves it.

    I thought all jailbreaking involved was finding an exploit and patching the IPSW, then finding a simple way to put your iPod to restore mode and applying the firmware. Probably not that simple or accurate :p
