Does anyone know if the incase slider 2g fits a ipod touch 1g??

Don't need to try it - you just try to fit an iPod Touch 1G into any silicone 2G case and you'll see the problem pretty quickly. If you want to break a $35 piece of plastic trying to shove your iPod Touch 1G into it, by all means go ahead.
okay. My ipod touch 1g fits my mum's leather case for ipod touch 2g.
Im not going to try it, I'll just get a different case.
You can find them for $7 at either Marshall's or TJMaxx here in the US.
The $35 Piece Of Plastic is referring to the Incase Slider, per the context of the precious post. Good silicone cases are still $20 or so.
Hard cases shaped to the 2G's tapered sides and bulging middle do NOT fit the flat 1G with its non-tapered side.
The reason it fits in the leather case is because those leather cases don't keep the iPod snug, so your 1G fits.
Buy a case made for your iPod.
