I have had my black 13'' macbook for almost a year now and am looking for a good, strong yet light, hard case for it when I put it in my backpack. I have done some research and have narrowed it down to two choices. Either the Incase Hardshell or the Speck SeeThru.

I would like if anyone has any first hand experience to let me know which one you believe is the better choice.

    For the Incase: http://www.goincase.com/products/detail/13-hardshell-case-cl57119/4

    For the Speck:http://www.speckproducts.com/products/seethru-satin/macbook-13-new-aluminum/163
    Thanks again

I just use a plain laptop sleeve for my Macbook. I really don't think anything else is necessary.

i have good experience with incase products, i use it for my touch and i love it, saved my ipod touch several times, xept it scratches the back a bit, but ur not buying a ipod case, ur buying a macbook case.

i might get a macbook soon and i would go to buy the incase hardshell case for macbook because i was so please with my touch case, but it doesnt work with the unibody aluminum macbook, the one i want to get, and if u look on the bottom of the case it has holes so the heat can escape, wich is very good.

also one of my friends at school uses the incase for his macbook and his computer is fine,

    i would get this one

I have never touched the Speck Seethru, but I have the black Incase Shell for my blackbook as well. It has a very soft touch to it and isn't that much of a fingerprint magnet. Just remember though that the case is pretty tight and I don't plan on taking it off.

This review of it really helped me decide

I would recommend it though, Incase makes very nice cases.

I don't like those things because they trap heat, at least for my MacBook Pro. If you're not doing any really demanding computing, then I guess you'll be fine.
