Majority of the time in landscape. Have smart cover and just have it at that 30 degrees angle. Only use portrait for things such as reading magazines and also when an app gives me no choice.

That's basically me too. Do you ever use the Smart Cover to stand it up? I do for videos and such.

Don't normally use it to stand it up cause it never feels very stable. I've got a belkin iPad stand that I use to stand up mu iPad to watch videos and use my iPad in bed

Just because we don't have an iPad doesn't mean we can't reply. Most tablets are the same. They have landscape and portrait.

Tablets are generally designed either in portrait (camera/buttons on the shorter sides) or landscape (camera/buttons on the longer sides). The iPad is designed for portrait, so any other tablet is potentially incomparable. Also, the iPad is the only tablet integrated with the iOS ecosystem.

The votes so far are interesting, in my opinion.

Mostly landscape: Games, browsing, videos and what not. PS: I want my Youtube back Apple, I HATE iOS 6... HATE, I gave a lot of good stuff up for a clock you copied from the swiss railway, some crappy maps and no Youtube app. I guess I have Siri now... /Rant
