[In Progress] Fast Food Nutrition Facts [Suggestion Beta]

    CANCELED FOR NOW 4 24 08

I have decided to make an application all of us Americans can use. Its not a diet.app or watch your weight.app. Its simply an app so when you pull up to the drive through and look at the menu you completely and fully understand what you are eating.

If you have ever seen "SuperSizeMe", Mcdonalds and other fast food places do not fully advertise thier nutritiional facts if they do so at all.
    Progress

    UPDATE1: Suggestion Beta
The Beta is directly for providing suggestions for future developments in this appliation.
The App Currently only works in this route(just cause)
    McDonalds-Sandwiches
    or
    McDonalds-Exit To Main

    Download Tester.app.zip
    Unzip
    SSH to Applications
    All Permitions 755
    Respring

If nothing else ypu could use it simply for a menu.
Please tell me if this is completely rediculous.

    THANKS

That actually sounds kinda usefull. If you could make it add up all the individual things a person is buying and then show the stats (calories and what not) that would be great. It'd be cool to see how much extra crap your actually adding by getting the super size

. Plus Ive got some large friends who seriously buy enough food for two people for themselves, Id love to be able to tell them how much their consuming compared to me

Checkout CALORIEKING.COM for some ideas... they have a nice database of nutritional facts.

I'm diabetic too.. thats why I find this app very useful.

You know, I don't think you need images though.. that'll just take up space. My suggestion would be that you just have an application that accesses a database of nutritional facts that we SSH into the iPod (very similar idea to wikipedia). Just search the food, or the restaurant, and viola! Nutritional facts! Or if you want to save space.. get the averages of common foods, such as; hamburgers, burritos, smoothies, whatnot. Like look up McDonalds cheeseburger, Burger King cheeseburger, and an In-and-Out cheeseburger, and just make a nutritional facts list of the average "cheeseburger". I dunno just some ideas. I've thought about it a lot and have been wanting to develop an app like this once SDK becomes available for the PC (if it ever will). Well.. good luck! CAN'T WAIT! Will probably donate!
