Ok guys, for all you guys who develop apps and such i have a question.

how would i go about making a simple application that would simply execute a executabel file??

like if i had a file (eg. reboot.sh) and i had it set to reboot the ipod when executed, how would i go about making an application that would do nothing but execute reboot.sh???

    please help, rep offered

Just open up Terminal, type reboot, and hit enter. No need to an executable or a shelll script.

    I can't give you a link because I'mkn m iPhone.
    1. Build the iPhone toolchain.
    2. Learm enough Objective-C to build a skeleton of an application. Look on the developer's subforum for the source codeto the Bluetooth.app toy I created.
    3. Call the system command from within the applicaton and have that execute your script.

If you're going to go through all this trouble, you'd be better off putting the command into the application itself, instead of calling a script.
