In-Game buying apps Could cause a problem?

    Hey guys well I was thinking that If we can edit files Can't we edit the price of What it cost? Couldn't this like make the developer furious? And do u think it will be possable?

    im sure its very obvious, and completely possible on 3.0, but i wasnt paying attention when it was explained....

    yea, in imob you can edit the .plist files to make it so you can make tons of money in game.... but this is not just the app.... its through itunes.... not possible

    It cant be done. Just like people cant edit appstore prices, unless they are the ones who put the app on the app store. It will not be just as simple as editing a plist file, the price wont even be stored locally, it will be stored on apples server.

    dont you think if someone would of already hacked the prices they woulda hacked the prices of the actual app

    allow me to clarify, because u have all ignored a crucial part of my post, it went something like ON 3.0

    edit: and yea, apple would totally hold pricing information locally on the device, knowing that people could hack it, cuz theyre just that nice

    No, but cracking will be rampant. It'll be interesting to see if people who don't pay for the app, possibly pay for the upgrades inside the app.
