I had an iPod Touch 2g running 3.1 firmware.

I tried jailbreaking using the method of downgrading and then restoring back using a custom firmware.

However, I had a problem when restoring back because iTunes said the file was not compatible.

So, then I restored it back to 3.0.

Now, since I restored my iPod, everything is gone including apps, music, movies, etc.

I had performed a backup of my iPod before I tried this.

    My problem is:

I have an iPod Touch 2G now running 3.0 firmware. How can I get back to my original state with all my files?? I have no interest in jailbreaking my iPod again. Somebody please help me!!!

    Thanks a lot in advanced!!

Right click on your iPod in the tab in iTunes and clock restore from backup.

If you want to get the musics, videos and applications that were installed back, that's impossible, since during the Restore it wipes your iPod clean.

In your iTunes there should be all of your videos and apps and stuff. Just resync what you want on your iPod then once that's done, restore from backup.
