I recently upgraded from 1.1.3 jb, to 1.14 jb.

I 'updated' to 1.1.4 with iTunes, and to my surprise all of my music, videos, and settings remained from my 1.1.3jb.

Then I ran this method to update to 1.1.4 (I have a week 38 16gb model)...

Everything worked the first time, and ran smoothly. I then went to installer, and installed Bosstool, and moved my fonts, and apps. To my Surprise ALL of my 1.1.3jb aps were back!

There was only one problem... Installer didn't recognize the apps I had. My solution to this was to 're-install' all of my apps from installer that I already had. This made installer recognize my apps again, and all is well.

I just wrote this for anyone who might be interested in updating to 1.1.4.

That's a good question. I can't remember, but I think it was called the Dev Team jailbreak. I used 3 or 4 different methods, but I think that's the last one I used.

Go back to 1.1.1, then to 1.1.2 and then use the Official Dev Team JB.

You can back your stuff up and then restore then after you rejailbreak.

Well, it worked for me... other than installer not recognizing the apps before re-install. Once you install bosstool on 1.1.4, and move your apps, they should all come back and work, but installer doesn't recognize that you have them. By that, I mean, it won't look for updates for your apps, and you can't uninstall them through installer. Once you re-install them though, they works perfectly, and are recognized.
