Ok so maybe i just envisioned this different but i have 32gb 3gs with iOS 4.0, Well the messaging still seems to me it works the same way just now it switches between apps via Multitasking. not in app like I thought becuase your still switching apps.

Now I do think its a little better, I just thought it would be like Bite SMS or the other jailbreak txting app where it brings up and on screen keyboard and you never lave the app so its really InApp Txting lol.

Maybe i'm just missing sumn and its really like that, :?

Yup, it's still not designed very well. And notifications are still stupid modal pop-up boxes until GriP or an alternative works again.
biteSMS' quick list feature is broken for now, too. It works on the lock screen and home screen but not in applications.

Apple actually explained what In-App SMS is for iOS 4.

It's like composing an email in an application and sending it.
    Except it's a SMS instead.

I purchased a Cydia package called QuickReply SMS back on 3.1.2. When you're playing a game or something and you get a text, you can text right there and continue your game. I think Apple should have made that an iOS4 universal feature.

I, too, have QuickReply purchased. It's one of the best Cydia packages there is.

BiteSMS includes an in-app SMS feature, so no need for QuickReply. Get the beta, I have it and it's 100% iOS 4 compatible (AFAIK).

You're right about qr, it has that and much more. It's not 100% iOS4 compatible yet, though, but mostly. Like I said before, quick list doesn't work if you're using an app, and Activator still doesn't completely work yet.

I never liked BiteSmS, so I'm sticking to the stock messages + QR.
