Hi I have an iPod Touch 2g and was ecstatic to see bluetooth being enabled under 3.0. since the Apple Repair service said my audio port is broken due to "water damage."

However I get choppy reception at best with my Motorola S9. I admit these weren't the best investment choice but they work pretty well with my phone - both sound quality and signal are better than the iPod, strangely.

If I were to acquire some sort of external bluetooth wireless transmitter by Motorola, Jaybird or Sony would the signal improve? And if so, would you guys be able to recommend me one?

I'm quite tired of holding my ipod touch 2g behind my head right next to the Motorockr S9 in order to get decent signal when i walk around outside.

also, the volume on my device increases whether i touch the buttons or not. I know I can fix this by restoring the device, but do you think I can get a Genius Bar rep to give me a replacement? I'm still under warranty.
