I've searched this problem but I haven't really got any answers. I want to put some movies/tv shows onto my Touch, but I can't import them into iTunes. After I click import, they don't appear on the list or anything. The different video types I want to import are: .avi, .vob and .ogm. Cheers.

I may not be correct, but I do not believe that iTunes supports .avi, .vob, and .ogm.

My experience is somewhat different. I got 2 PC's. the 1st one accept the import of .mp4 videos, not the 2nd. Even though the software versions are the same. The only differences are the processor and the RAM.

videora ipod touch converter is an excellent one. Its very simple. All you have to do is find the file and click the button saying convert. The videos automatically go onto ur itunes ready to be put onto ur ipod touch. But the only bad thing is that the program uses ur RAM like crazy.

If you want to convert whole DVD's use HandBrake

If you want to convert OGM or MKV or any of those foreign Formats, use Xvid4PSP.

    Windows Only. Happy converting!

I like iSquint for converting & Handbrake for ripping. Mac the Ripper is great too.
