Hey guys. I have successfully jailbroken my iPod Touch thanks to cyw00d.

Now this is what I am wondering. How do I apply changes like downloading a theme or stuff of that kind without losing the jailbreak.

When you get certain things from Cydia, you know how it says respring or reboot or something? Well I did that with one thing and I lost the jailbreak.

Please help and thank you for your time!

Themes will be fine and not require a reboot.

You can lose the jailbreak by restoring.

    -------------------

Installing things from Cydia do not lose the jailbreak.

I'm trying to have it jailbroken but with my songs and sh*t on it. I restore it to my last copy so it would have the music and all but now I gotta re-jailbreak it again....

How do I keep the jailbreak and have my music on there at the same time because after I jailbreak, it asks me to restore and there is no other option.

Hit "set up as new iPod." I restored to a backup though, without much trouble. It was a bit odd though, since it copied all of my settings but none of my music.

OP: When you download something that needs a reboot, you just need to use a program to turn your iPod on again. You won't lose anything unless you somehow manage to restore your iPod to a different firmware instead of just booting.
