So, I have been wondering if there was a way to get my ipod touch saved photos in ubuntu. When I plug my ipod touch, a message appears saying that it detected a camera but when i click on import it open F-Spot but it doesn't show any photos. I have recently upgraded to intrepid ibex and realized that it recognises my ipod touch as "Apple, Inc. iPod" (something that didn't happen with Hardy Heron) but still, it can't do anything. Is there any way to import my ipod touch saved photos with ubuntu intrepid ibex just like windows does (it appears like a drive and you can copy the images with windows explorer)?
    ipod touch firmware version 2.1
    Ubuntu 8.10 Intrepid Ibex

    thanks

SSH in and copy everything from the correct folder.
