How do you do this? I tried it from settings, but it doesn't work.

I tried that, didn't work :/. I'm using it without a data plan. Like I'm using an AT&T sim card, but I turned off EDGE and 3G. Would that be the reason why that method isn't working?

    I don't think It's because of that.

If you have an older iPhone I know a way to manage contacts on your sim.

Is an iPhone 3G considered an older iPhone?

    I guess.

If you have the contacts on the 3G you can import your contacts to the sim using simanager from cydia.
