I have an idea, im not too sure how possible this is, but its worth a shot.
This is for Mac-ers only for now.
there is an application for OSX called Carbon Copy Cloner [freeware]
    http://www.bombich.com/software/ccc.html

it basically backsup a hard disk completely [OS and all]
to where, if you wanted, you could RE-image this onto an external disk and boot from that instead of your internal drive.

this application also has the ability to Image across a network [wirelessly]
its basically, inputting the ip of the disk that is being imaged/backedup.
but before you do that, you have to install a little .PKG.

is there a way to install the "Authentication Credentials from Greensleeves.local" PKG onto the ipot? what this package does, is gives the "ok" to the selected hard disk to be imaged by a remote user.

im really hoping this is making sence. if you are at the least bit network savy, download the carbon copy cloner and play around with it, and im sure youll know exactly what im tryint to get at.
