image saving from safari to photos

    I read over the post of how to download mp3 files etc.. Never came to conclusion though.. Can you download and save pictures for later viewing?

    Nope. The plugin isn't used when viewing an image.

    yes you can I did it buy using the history method basically you have to click on the picture so that in the URL it says blah.jpg or whatever extension it is just go to the history app and select it from the list as if it was an mp3 and hit download works great when using google images but you have to view the image full size or whatever that option says in google images. I'm in a rush now but will clarify latter.

    I know you can download them, but you can't import them (as far as I know).

    Does anyone know if it's possible to download an image that's just displayed on a webpage, but with no links directly to the jpg/png/gif file? AFAIK, Safari doesn't have a "view image by itself" option, so I think a workaround is the only way.
