I want to jailbreak my ipod but i have had this reoccurring problem. awhile ago i needed to restore my ipod but mid way through the restore process error code (14) comes up and my ipod stays at the screen with the cord plugging into itunes. If i jailbreak my ipod will i have to restore and if so does anybody no of any solutions to my problem?

Solution to your problem? Put the iPod in DFU and restore. (while plugged in hold down both the power and home button for 10 seconds, then release the power button and continue holding the home button for 7 more seconds)

    Omg...

HOW COULD YOUR IPOD BE BRICKED IF IT'S WORKING RIGHT NOW!

It's impossible to brick your iPod.

Anyway, yes this will work and should resolve any of your problems.

tuts are made to be followed TO THE LETTER... we're not baking bread over here.
and w/ bros like chris stroud (redtool) on our side, there is no excuse for failure (imho).

edit: take ur time, try again, pay attention... it will work, it has for many!
