Application, making. I see (almost) a billion applications in the applications store whether they are poorly made or brilliant. But each and every day I wonder.

    • Is it easy? I heard it's like 2000 lines of code to make an application that just says: Hello world. (Although, I don't believe this.) Also, the application 'Doodle Kids' was so called 'made' by a 7 year old.
    • Is it fun?? (Nocomment.)
    • What kind of like.. Text is it in... For example, HTML..? C++?? Some IpodFormat???

    So the question: How.

(Lol I just saw something on my ipod and I crunched it with my finger and soon noticed it was a moth.. xD)

It's coding. Got to learn the language (It's objectional C and some other language...I think), and then you would need the SDK.

    • No.
    • Depends on what you think is "fun".
    • Objective-C and Cocoa (Touch).

It takes a while to learn, and it's very difficult to just go straight into Objective-C without prior knowledge of programming.

Well... on what? Making an app for the iPod touch? That's a pretty vague question. What kind of app do you want to make? You own a Mac, right? Do you have any previous experience with programming, in any language?

All of the information is out there- Apple's developer site has many guides and examples for you to look through.

No, I don't have a mac and I don't know how the f**k you can assume that. I'm not a nerd, I'm a geek. Also, I haven't really programmed anything else except websites with HTML. If you read the other posts it is clear that I wanted a tutorial with ObjectC.

lol HTML is not a programming language.

And you can't make ipod/iphone apps very easily without a mac.
