I'M SURE ONE OF YOU CAN HELP ME! ... please?

    Ok so my itunes cannot read my itouch, it presents that pretty little message saying Itunes cannot read the contents of Jenny's Ipod.
    And every one says oh to bad u have to restore it, well THAT'S NOT FAIR!
    My Itouch will work just fine on my sisters computer and her itouch will work fine on mine so I guess someone up there is just trying to mess with me!
    My itouch is jailbroken so if i do restore i'll loose EVERYTHING!
    Someone HAS to help me!

    Try a different usb port, usb cable.. hmm..
    might have to restore..
    or.. just start using your sisters computer for your ipod lol

    Theres a help section on apple.com that gives full detail on what to do when an ipod doesnt get recognized by iTunes. It usaully has to do with applemobiledevices driver either stop/start/restart apple mobiledevices driver or you have to uninstall applemobiledevices driver along with iTunes, then reinstall iTunes. Hopfully that should work and you wont have to restore your iPod touch.

    Have you tryed to put it DFU mode for it to read it then take it out of DFU mode.
    Or Install itunes again.
