If the next update comes out and we still have that stupid 9-page app limit, I for one am boycotting. Feel free to join me, and tell everyone (including Apple at apple.com/feedback/iPhone.html).

Actually, nevermind. I thought I would have some supporters. Instead, everyone is accusing me of being an Apple hater, which I am CERTAINLY not. So case closed. Boycott canceled.

use stacks, categories, and 5 row springboard. you can fit a lot more apps.

Seriously! That is a lot of apps. You can honestly tell me that you use everyone of them often enough that you cant sync some on and off?

Agreed, zero percent chance you actually need all of them at the same time. And syncing an app only takes less than five minutes.

You really do have no excuse. You can even poof them away and use Dock or QuickGold.

you guys are missing the point.

whether he uses them or not is not the issue. ok, so logically he can sync a few off to his computer, but why should he?

i'm on page 7 so far and wont long fill up. i want more than 9 pages. what's wrong to ask about that? i dont want to sync apps off my pod to my computer. what a faff. i want them all on my ipod where they're designed to go. and nope, i dont use many of them at once, but thats hardly the issue.

I am really interested in how this boycott would take place.

Do you stop buying apps or just not update or do you just let dust settle on the ipod touch.

Frankly, anyone that has bought 140 or so apps (or even downloaded free ones) is not going to be able to resist the lure of the app store for very long so the threat to boycott is meaningless in my not even slightly humble opinion.
