Ok I went to re-jailbreak with 3.0 and not install icy this time, that seems to allow cydia to work. The jailbreak process went fine until it rebooted to install the packages, I have no way to turn my ipod on now. Windows see's "an un-recognized usb device". Help!!!!!!!!!

Yes I know how to put the ipod into dfu mode. It took about 12 tries before before windows and itunes recognized it. Back up and running.

ipod off, start itunes, connect ipod, hold power button and home button down until apple logo or system gives disconnect sound, release power button continue to hold home button, itunes will let you know the ipod is in recovery mode, re;ease home button. I restored with itunes backup, then re-jail breaked with redsnow.
